I just got my XLR8 XtraVeiw and installed it. Once I plugged in the device and launched the software I was prompted to enter the serial number. I enter the number on the back of the device (XVU....) but when I hit enter nothing happens. I tried doing it with out the dashes and not capitalized but nothing works. the software does not say that the serial is wrong but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?
I am trying to use it with a mac G5. The system works when I hit demo but will not take the serial.
Please help!

If in the Serial Number Request window, you receive a message with "VideoGlide" in the text... then you need to remove the VideoGlide software installed.
The latest versions of XtraView should be uninstalling VideoGlide for you though.
Anyhow, you can fix this by first quitting the XtraView Capture app if running.
Then going to Applications > VideoGlide > VideoGlide Tools and running the VideoGlide uninstaller.
Then go to Applications > XtraView USB and run the XtraView Capture Application.
Then simply
