I upgraded to Interview 3.0 awhile ago. Of course the original email for download and serial number are long gone. I did write the serial number on the disk I save the install on.
Now it won't recognize the serial number when I try to install it on a new hard drive. I was going to copy it from the old OS X folder but the files listed on the installer document are not found (USBVision X.kext).
How can I get a new serial number to reinstall

Hi Mike,
If you purchased 3.0, then the sales department at Daystar can look up your serial number. Just send an email to sales@daystartechnology.com
