Hi,

I e-mailed and got no reply, so I called and got no reply.
I would like to buy one of your products, but you're not making it easy.

The data sheet for XtraView contains no audio specs beyond "stereo". This is less than convincing, especially when Psychic Hotline is busy.

Do I buy the ProView or pay the extra for totally unknown audio performance?

Sorry for the late reply.
The XtraView uses the Empia 202 chipset for audio.
This is a single-chip, dual-channel, audio codec. It's compliant with the AC'97 2.2 specification and delivers 20-bit stereo DAC as well as 20-bit stereo ADC full duplex.

I have attached the chipset's specification.

Sounds great, buying the Xtra.
Just wanted to know that it wasn't some mickey_mouse audio.

Looking forward to this, video performance (on paper at least) is exceptional, I was worried that video bandwidth had compromised the audio.

With such a great product you should host videos made on your gear.

Thanks

Xcellent suggestion! I'll take a look at setting it up.
:)
