| I read the stats on the ProView device and it said it captures up to 640x480. But my old InterView 3.0 device captures up to that as well. So what exactly is the incentive to upgrade? What's the difference?

Well actually your InterView is limited to 320x240 for video capture... and USB 1.1 -- It can do screen shots at 640x480. If you try to use the InterView for full screen (640x480) it will actually capture the full screen, downsize it to 320x240 in the device, transfer to the mac, then resize to 640x480.
The ProView on the other hand, actually captures raw 640x40 full screen, and transfers it to the Mac via USB 2.0 at full resulution (ie, no loss of quality).
It pretty Much adds up like this:
Interview 3.0
Screen Grab: 640x480
Video Capture: 320x240
Connection: USB 1.1
320x240 quality (Standard Size): Excellent (industry best).
640x480 quality (Over Size): Poor (resized & not real-time))
Multiple device support: Up to 8
ProView USB
Screen Grab: 640x480
Video Capture: 640x480
Connection: USB 2.0
320x240 quality (Reduced Size): Good (depends on compression choice).
640x480 quality (Standard Size): Excellent (uncompressed).
Multiple device support: 1 Per USB 2.0 Card / System
