Is it worth being on the lookout for any speed bumps in the XLR8 line of G4 Zifs?

I am currently running a G4 at 450 and I can't justify paying much for a 150MHz jump to 600.  If I were at 300MHz, the 600MHz Zif would be a no-brainer but I don't know whether the 150MHz increase will give me $200 worth of bang for those bucks.

Are any faster XLR8 Zifs in the works?  Or have we maxed out at 600?
Also, whatever happened to the dual processor XLR8s?

I know I could go with a Sonnet G4 or a Powerlogix G3 to get a gig or more but they'd both choke the system bus down to 66.  Besides, I've used Daystar's XLR8 in all (2) my past upgrades and feel some brand loyalty.

This is sort of a bump and sort of a revision of the question.

Is there any R&D still being done on G4 Zifs or are the old B&Ws and Yikes owners maxed out where we stand?  What hope on the horizon?
