Hi Gary,
1. Purchased the G4 550mhz upgrade a bit of a while back, and was satisfied with it (Thanks!). Now the thought has occured to me recently whether or not it were possible to overclock the Pismo's bus speed from 100mhz to 133mhz. The Wallstreet, Lombard all have articles that provide information on how to do this, and there are even articles on how to get early Tibooks to a 133mhz bus - so would it be possible to upgrade the g4 550mhz to this bus speed? If so, how (I understand this will require soldering of jumpers)?
2. On a side note, how about overclocking the CPU to 600mhz? Your articles say that it is theoretically possible, but in actuality, the Pismo can't handle it - how so? I gutted out my dead Pismo batteries lately and installed 2 blower fans blowing into the CPU, powered via USB, as well as installed a discontinued PC card fan to blow on the CPU... would it work given enough cooling?
Thanks so much!

It is possible to push the bus speed, but a number of the components on the logic board are not rated for over 100 MHz. There may also be some QuickTime timing issues.

Yes, that would probably do it.
