Your advice please....

I have a G4 Aluminum 1.25GH/2g ram. The hard drive has died.

The HD is a PATA. That is, a parallel ATA. It is a transition design between IDE and Serial ATAT (SATA). It has two rows of 22 pins, with a block of 4 pins at the end of the row.

I need an enclosure with a chipset of some quality in order to possibly rescue some truly critical data. The $22.00 throw away enclosure I just purchased was exactly that - a throw away because it could not even recognize the drive.

Thanks,
Nate
